Terms of Use

In short: NEXUS is free during early access and provided as it is. Use it fairly, keep your access code to yourself, follow the rules of the games you play, and pay for your own AI provider if it charges you.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you download or use NEXUS, its community server or the NEXUS Discord bot. By using NEXUS you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use NEXUS.

2. Early access

NEXUS is in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We're grateful for your feedback while we improve it.

3. Your account and access codes

You need an account and an active pass to use NEXUS. Passes come from access codes, free trials and server boost rewards.
Access codes are personal. Don't sell, share or publish them. One free trial per person.
Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service.

4. Your AI provider

NEXUS works with your own AI account (Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT or Anthropic Claude). Your use of that provider is covered by its terms, and any charges it makes are yours. NEXUS doesn't supply or pay for AI.

5. Playing fairly

NEXUS is read-only. It looks at your screen and answers questions. It does not read game memory, inject code, change game files, press keys or automate play.
Don't use NEXUS, or try to make it, help you cheat, exploit games or get around anti-cheat systems.
Some games and competitions have their own rules about third-party tools. It's your responsibility to check and follow the rules of every game you play.

6. Answers and accuracy

NEXUS answers with AI and information from public websites and other players. It tries hard to cite sources and say when it can't verify something, but answers can still be wrong or out of date. Use your own judgement, especially before spending in-game currency or real money.

7. Community content

NEXUS shares short facts it learns from public guides, with their links, so every player gets better answers. These facts come from third-party websites and belong to their owners. We may remove any shared content at any time.

8. Things you mustn't do

Attack, overload or try to break into the NEXUS server or other players' accounts.
Reverse engineer NEXUS to harm the service or its players, or remove its security checks.
Use NEXUS for anything illegal, or to harass anyone.

9. Ownership

NEXUS, its name, logo and software belong to us. Game names and content belong to their publishers. NEXUS isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher, Discord, Google, OpenAI or Anthropic.

10. No warranty and our liability

NEXUS is provided "as is" during early access, without any promise that it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost game progress or items, lost data, or account actions taken by game publishers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under UK law.

11. Ending use

You can stop using NEXUS at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or if we close the service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post important changes in the NEXUS Discord. If you keep using NEXUS after a change, the new terms apply.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.
